Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)

The midline model of the IGNM has the RKE feature. The FOBIK uses Radio Frequency (RF) signals to communicate with the Radio Frequency Hub (RFH) and the RFH relays the RKE requests to other modules in the vehicle over the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The IGNM itself does not control any of the RKE functions. Refer to OPERATION .
