Instrument Panel Cluster

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL .
  3. Disengage the two gap hider clips at the bottom of the instrument cluster.

  4. Remove the two upper (1) and the two lower (2) fasteners securing the IPC to the instrument panel.
  5. Pull the top of the IPC back and lift the IPC upward to remove.

  6. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector (2) from the back of the IPC (1).

  7. Remove the IPC (1) from the vehicle.
