Module, Power Liftgate Control (PLGM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1) from the Power Liftgate Module (PLGM) connector receptacles.
  4. Press the latch feature (2) of the PLGM housing and pull the PLGM (3) out and away from the body panel.
  5. Remove the PLGM (3) from the vehicle.
