Diagnostic Test

TIRE PRESSURE VALUES
NOTE:
Before beginning the diagnostic procedure, check for and remove any non-FCC compliant components before beginning this diagnostic procedure. Verify that the tire pressures are correct, the 9936 TPM-RKE analyzer is at the most current version available and the correct application has been chosen on the tool.
NOTE:
This DTC is not active while in "Winter" Mode.
- With the scan tool, select "RFH", "Data Display", "Tire Placard Pressure - Front" under each of the TPM Sensor Identification locations.
- Compare the pressure values with the "Tire Inflation Pressure (Placard) Label located on the driver's side B-Pillar.
- With the scan tool, select "RFH", "Miscellaneous Functions", "Update Pressure Threshold" and follow the instructions on the scan tool.
- Enter the front and rear placard pressure values as seen on the Tire Inflation Pressure (Placard) Label.
Do the tire pressure values match the Placard Values?
Yes
- Test complete.
- Perform the TPM SENSOR VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TPM SENSOR VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Repeat this test.
- Perform the TPM SENSOR VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TPM SENSOR VERIFICATION TEST .
