Diagnostic Test

VERIFY DTC IS ACTIVE
NOTE:
Verify that the vehicles battery is fully charged before proceeding.

NOTE:
If DTC U103C-KIN/IGNM COMMUNICATION is Active perform the diagnostics for this fault before proceeding.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read active Radio Frequency Hub (RFH) Module DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display: U0037-00-LIN BUS as Active?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
CHECK THE (D122) SECURITY K LINE BUS CIRCUIT
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) / Ignition Control Module (IGNM) C1 harness connector.
3. Turn the ignition on.
4. Measure the voltage of the (D122) RFH Module SECURITY K LINE Bus circuit at the KIN / IGNM connector.
  Is the voltage above 7.0 volts?
  
  Yes
  - If equipped with a Keyless Ignition Node (KIN), replace it in accordance with Service Information. Refer to MODULE, KEYLESS IGNITION NODE (KIN), REMOVAL .
  - If equipped with an Ignition Node Module (IGNM), replace it in accordance with Service Information.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 3
(D122) RFH MODULE LIN BUS CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the RFH Module C1 harness connector.
3. Measure the resistance between Ground and the (D122) RFH Module SECURITY K LINE Bus circuit.
  Is the resistance below 10K Ohms?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the (D122) RFH Module SECURITY K LINE Bus circuit for a short to the ground.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 4
(D122) RFH MODULE SECURITY K LINE BUS CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
1. Measure the voltage on the (D122) RFH Module SECURITY K LINE Bus circuit.
  Is there any voltage?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the (D122) RFH Module SECURITY K LINE Bus circuit for a short to voltage.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Radio Frequency Hub (RFH) Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, RADIO FREQUENCY (RF HUB), REMOVAL .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
