Diagnostic Test

CHECK IF THE DTC IS ACTIVE

Ignition on, engine not running.
With the scan tool, record and erase Memory Seat Module-Driver (MSMD) DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from off to on.
With the scan tool, read MSMD DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes
- Attempt to update (flash) the MSMD. If you are unable to update the controller, or if this DTC continues to reset after updating, replace and program the Memory Seat Module-Driver (MSMD) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, MEMORY, SEAT (MSM), REMOVAL .
- Perform POWER SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
