Module, Blind Spot (BSM): Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Reach up behind the outboard end of the rear bumper fascia (3) to access and disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the appropriate blind spot sensor (2) connector receptacle.
- Press the latch tab (4) of the blind spot sensor mounting bracket and pull the sensor out of the bracket toward the rear of the vehicle.
