Module, Door (DDM/PDM): Removal

NOTE:

Driver Door Module (DDM) shown in illustration, Passenger Door Module (PDM) similar.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the interior door trim panel from the front left door to access the DDM. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect each of the door wire harness connectors (2) from the DDM (4).
  4. Remove the fasteners (3) that secure the DDM to the front door carrier plate (1).
  5. Remove the DDM from the door carrier plate.
