Module, Emergency Assistance (EAM): Removal: Module

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the radio. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector and antenna connectors (1) from the Emergency Assistance Module (EAM) (3).
- Remove the fasteners (2) from the EAM that secure the EAM (3) to the instrument panel bracket.
- Remove the EAM (3) from the vehicle.
