Module, Emergency Assistance (EAM): Removal: Speaker

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the center dash speaker grill (1) using a trim tool or equivalent and carefully pry up around the grill releasing the lock tabs.
- Remove the fasteners (1) from the Emergency Assistance Module (EAM) speaker (3).
- Lift the speaker up enough to disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector (2) from the EAM speaker (3).
- Remove the EAM speaker (3) from the vehicle.
