NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.

  1. Connect the diagnostic scan tool.
  2. Cycle the ignition to the RUN position (engine not running).
  3. Clear all relevant Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
  4. Turn the ignition OFF and then to the RUN position and confirm that any found DTCs are now cleared.
  5. Select the BCM "ECU view".
  6. Select the "Misc Functions" menu and perform the "PROXI alignment" procedure.
  7. Select the Radio Frequency Hub (RF-Hub) "ECU View".
  8. Select the "Misc Functions" menu and perform the "Update Front and Rear Axle Nominal Tire Pressure Values" procedure to program the tire pressure threshold values.
