Removal And Installation: Notes

CAUTION:

To remove the driver air bag module, refer to - SERVICE PRECAUTIONS and DRIVER AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ).

Pre-removal operation

Steering wheel at straight-ahead position check
Removal of steering column lower cover, steering column upper cover (Refer to - STEERING COLUMN SHAFT ASSEMBLY ).
Removal of steering wheel assembly (Refer to - DRIVER'S AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ).

Post-installation operation

Installation of steering wheel assembly (Refer to - DRIVER'S AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ).
Installation of steering column lower cover, steering column upper cover (Refer to - STEERING COLUMN SHAFT ASSEMBLY ).
Steering wheel at straight-ahead position check
