DTC C1340: Stoplight switch: Notes
CAUTION:
- When more than one stoplight do not illuminate due to a blown bulb, this DTC may be set. Diagnose the rear combination light (Refer to THE STOPLIGHT DO NOT ILLUMINATE OR GO OUT NORMALLY <Vehicles without Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) system> or INSPECTION PROCEDURE 4: THE STOPLIGHT DO NOT ILLUMINATE OR GO OUT NORMALLY. <VEHICLES WITH FORWARD COLLISION MITIGATION (FCM)> <Vehicles with Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) system>).
- If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect DTC may be set. Prior to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to CAN BUS DIAGNOSTICS TABLE ).
- Whenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
- When the hydraulic unit (integrated with ASC-ECU) is replaced, always carry out the calibration of the G and yaw rate sensor and the steering wheel sensor (Refer to G AND YAW RATE SENSOR CALIBRATION and STEERING WHEEL SENSOR CALIBRATION ).
