DTC U1104: SAS CAN timeout/Not equipped: Notes
CAUTION:
- If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect DTC may be set. Prior to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to CAN BUS DIAGNOSTICS TABLE ).
- If DTC U1104 is set in ASC-ECU, always diagnose the CAN bus line. If there is any fault in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect DTC may be set. In this case, the set DTC is not highly reliable.
- Whenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
- When the column switch assembly (integrated with steering wheel sensor) is replaced (refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ), always carry out calibration to make ASC-ECU learn the neutral point (Refer to STEERING WHEEL SENSOR CALIBRATION ).
- When the hydraulic unit (integrated with ASC-ECU) is replaced, always carry out the calibration of the G and yaw rate sensor and the steering wheel sensor (Refer to G AND YAW RATE SENSOR CALIBRATION and STEERING WHEEL SENSOR CALIBRATION ).
