Component Inspection

  1. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) 1 
    1. Ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect front power window switch (passenger side) connector.
    3. Check continuity between front power window switch (passenger side) terminals.
      Terminal Continuity
      1 6 Not existed
      7 Existed
      2 6 Not existed
      7 Existed

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>: GO TO 2 

    NO >>: Replace front power window switch (passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) 2 

    Check voltage front power window switch (passenger side) terminals under the following conditions.

    Terminal Condition Voltage
    (+) (-)
    1 Ground 12 V direct current supply between terminals 6 (+) and 3 (-). NEUTRAL 0 V
    DOWN 12 V
    2 Ground 12 V direct current supply between terminals 6 (+) and 3 (-). NEUTRAL 0 V
    UP 12 V

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>: GO TO 3 

    NO >>: Replace front power window switch (passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) 3 
    1. Check voltage front power window switch (passenger side) terminals under the following conditions.
      Terminal Condition Voltage
      (+) (-)
      1 Ground 12 V direct current supply between terminals 6 (+) and 5 (-). 12 V
      No current supply 0 V
      2 Ground 12 V direct current supply between terminals 6 (+) and 4 (-). 12 V
      No current supply 0 V

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>: INSPECTION END

    NO >>: Replace front power window switch (passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
