DTC Confirmation Procedure

U2152-57 

1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 

   If DTC U2152 is displayed with DTC U1327, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1327.

   Is DTC U1327 detected? 

   YES >>

   Proceed to DTC DESCRIPTION 

   NO >>

   GO TO 2 

2. CHECK MAC DIAGNOSIS 

   With M.U.T.-III SE

   1. Ignition switch ON.
   2. Perform "MAC Diagnosis" mode of "ENGINE" using M.U.T.-III SE.

   Is DTC U2152 detected? 

   YES >>

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

   NO-1 >>

   To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

   NO-2 >>

   Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

U2152-83, 87 

1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 

   If DTC U2152 is displayed with DTC P0607, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for DTC P0607.

   Is DTC P0607 detected? 

   YES >>

   Proceed to DTC DESCRIPTION .

   NO >>

   GO TO 2 

2. PRECONDITIONING 

   If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test.

   1. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
   2. Turn ignition switch ON.
   3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

   TESTING CONDITION:

   Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is 11 V or more at idle.

   >>

   GO TO 3 

3. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE 
   1. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 3 seconds.
   2. Check 1st trip DTC.

   Is DTC U2152 detected? 

   YES >>

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

   NO-1 >>

   To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

   NO-2 >>

   Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
