DTC Confirmation Procedure

PRECONDITIONING
1. Pull the parking brake switch.
  NOTE: Check the parking brake switch indicator is turn On.
2. Ignition switch OFF.
3. Get out of the vehicle and close all doors.
4. Wait 65 seconds.
NOTE:
- Check the parking brake switch indicator turn OFF.
- If the rear brake caliper is heated, wait an hour so that parking brake switch indicator does not turn OFF.
»: GO TO 2 .
DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE
With M.U.T.-III SE
1. Start the engine.
  CAUTION: Never drive the vehicle.
2. Perform self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".
Is DTC "C1608-46" detected?

YES »: Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

NO-1 »: To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

NO-2 »: Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
