Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK KEYLESS OPERATION KEY SYSTEM (DOOR LOCK FUNCTION) 

    Lock/unlock door with door request switch. Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION .

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    GO TO  2.

    .

    NO >>

    Check keyless operation key system (door lock function). Refer to DESCRIPTION .

  2. CHECK HOOD SWITCH 

    Check hood switch. Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    GO TO  3.

    .

    NO >>

    Replace hood lock assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. REPLACE BCM 

    Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    INSPECTION END

    NO >>

    Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
