Component Inspection

  1. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) 1 
    1. Turn the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to OFF.
    2. Disconnect front power window switch (passenger side) connector.
    3. Check continuity between front power window switch (passenger side) terminals.
    Terminal Continuity
    1 6 Not existed
    7 Existed
    2 6 Not existed
    7 Existed

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    GO TO  2.

    NO >>

    Replace front power window switch (passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) 2 

    Check voltage front power window switch (passenger side) terminals under the following conditions.

    Terminal Condition Voltage
    (+) (-)
    1 Ground 12 V direct current supply between terminals 6 (+) and 3 (-). NEUTRAL 0 V
    DOWN 12 V
    2 Ground 12 V direct current supply between terminals 6 (+) and 3 (-). NEUTRAL 0 V
    UP 12 V

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    GO TO  3.

    NO >>

    Replace front power window switch (passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) 3 
    1. Check voltage front power window switch (passenger side) terminals under the following conditions.
    Terminal Condition Voltage
    (+) (-)
    1 Ground 12 V direct current supply between terminals 6 (+) and 5 (-). 12 V
    No current supply 0 V
    2 Ground 12 V direct current supply between terminals 6 (+) and 4 (-). 12 V
    No current supply 0 V

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    INSPECTION END

    NO >>

    Replace front power window switch (passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
