Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT 

    Check power window main switch power supply and ground circuit. Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES-1 >>

    AUTO - OPERATION (DRIVER SIDE ONLY): GO TO  2.

    YES-2 >>

    AUTO - OPERATION (ALL WINDOWS): GO TO  3.

    NO >>

    Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

  2. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) 

    Check front power window switch (passenger side).

    Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    Replace power window main switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO >>

    Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

  3. REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) 
    1. Replace front power window switch (passenger side). Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .
    2. Confirm the operation again.

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES >>

    Replace power window main switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO >>

    Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
