Work Procedure

- Perform action test to verify the customer's concern.
- Perform action test and check the system operation after system diagnosis.
NOTE:
Perform the Active Blind Spot Assist [ABSA] action test after checking that the LDP system operates normally because the Active Blind Spot Assist [ABSA] shares components with the LDP system.
WARNING:
Be careful of traffic conditions and safety around the vehicle when performing road test.
CAUTION:
Fully understand the following items well before the road test;
- System description: Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION .
- Handling precaution: Refer to Precautions for Active Blind Spot Assist [ABSA]HANDLING PRECAUTION .
- LDW/LDP SYSTEM ACTION TEST
Perform the LDW/LDP system action test.
- LDW: Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION .
- LDP: Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION .

GO TO 2.
- CHECK ABSA SYSTEM SETTING
- Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: ON).
- Check that the Active Blind Spot Assist [ABSA] setting can be enabled/disabled on the information display.
- Turn the electric motor switch OFF and wait for 5 seconds or more.
- Check that the previous setting is saved when the engine starts again.
