Work Procedure

NOTE: Perform the Active Blind Spot Assist [ABSA] action test after checking that the LDP system operates normally because the Active Blind Spot Assist [ABSA] shares components with the LDP system.
WARNING: Be careful of traffic conditions and safety around the vehicle when performing road test.
CAUTION: Fully understand the following items well before the road test;
  1. LDW/LDP SYSTEM ACTION TEST 

    Perform the LDW/LDP system action test.

    GO TO  2.

  2. CHECK ABSA SYSTEM SETTING 
    1. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: ON).
    2. Check that the Active Blind Spot Assist [ABSA] setting can be enabled/disabled on the information display.
    3. Turn the electric motor switch OFF and wait for 5 seconds or more.
    4. Check that the previous setting is saved when the engine starts again.
