DTC Confirmation Procedure

1. Pull the parking brake switch.
   NOTE: Check the parking brake switch indicator is turn On.
2. Electric motor switch OFF.
3. Get out of the vehicle and close all doors.
4. Wait 65 seconds.
   NOTE:

   • Check the parking brake switch indicator turn OFF  .
   • If the rear brake caliper is heated, wait an hour so that parking brake switch indicator does not turn OFF  .

   GO TO  5.

5. DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE 

   With M.U.T.-III SE 1. Start the engine.

   CAUTION: Never drive the vehicle.
6. Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code for "EPS/DAST 3".

Is DTC "C1608-46" detected? 

YES: Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

NO-1

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

NO-2

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
