Diagnosis Procedure
- %CHECK DRIVE MODE SELECT SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect drive mode select switch harness connector and chassis control module harness connector.
- Check the continuity between drive mode select switch harness connector and chassis control module harness connector.
Drive mode select switch BCM Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M186 3 M18 25 Existed - Also check harness for short to ground and to power.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >>
Repair/replace harness or connector.
- %CHECK DRIVE MODE SELECT SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check the continuity between drive mode select switch harness connector and ground.
Drive mode select switch - Continuity Connector Terminal M186 4 Ground Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES >>
GO TO 3.
NO >>
Repair/replace harness or connector.
- %CHECK DRIVE MODE SELECT SWITCH
Check drive mode select switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >>
INSPECTION END
NO >>
Replace drive mode select switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
