Removal And Installation: Notes

CAUTION:

Before replacing the transaxle assembly, you should make a note of the serial No. which is stamped on the new transaxle assembly (Refer to INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE FOR CVT LEARNED VALUE ).
When the transaxle assembly is replaced, carry out the following operations.
Initialization Procedure for CVT Learned Value (Refer to INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE FOR CVT LEARNED VALUE ).
Learning Procedure (Refer to INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE FOR CVT LEARNED VALUE ).

Pre-removal and post-installation operation

Transfer Assembly Removal and Installation <AWD> (Refer to TRANSFER ASSEMBLY <AWD> ).
Strut Tower Bar Removal and Installation (Refer to - Strut Tower Bar REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
Air Cleaner Assembly, Air Cleaner Bracket Removal and Installation (Refer to - AIR CLEANER ).
Battery and Battery Tray Removal and Installation (Refer to - BATTERY ).
Engine Room Under Cover Front A, B and Engine Room Side Cover Removal and Installation (Refer to - UNDER COVER ).
Transmission Fluid Draining and Refilling (Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID CHANGE ).
Engine Coolant Draining and Refilling (Refer to - On-vehicle Service ENGINE COOLANT CHANGE ).
Engine control module Removal and Installation (Refer to - ENGINE CONTROL MODULE ).
Air Hose B and Air Hose C Removal and Installation (Refer to - CHARGE AIR COOLER ).

		6.	Water hose connection
		7.	Oil cooler return hose connection (Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID COOLER AND COOLER LINE )
		8.	Oil filler tube assembly
		9.	O-ring
		•	Battery bracket A, Battery bracket B (Refer to - Loose Panel REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
		•	Starter (Refer to - Starting System STARTER RELAY CONTINUITY CHECK ).

		11.	Transaxle assembly coupling bolt
		•	Supporting the engine and transaxle assembly with a garage jack.

Required Special Tools :
