Crankcase Ventilation Systems: Description

The closed crankcase ventilation system returns blow-by gases to both the intake manifold and carburetor air cleaner. A variable orifice valve (PCV valve on 1975-79 models) is provided to conduct crankcase blow-by gases to the intake manifold.
