ECCS Control Unit

The control unit is located under left side of dash on Maxima. It is not serviceable and should not be opened. A monitor lamp is provided on lower side of unit so system operation can be checked. The control unit contains memory and logic circuits that enable it to interpret sensor inputs and control different engine systems.
