Fuel Temperature Sensor (Code 41)
- Disconnect 20-pin connector and measure the resistance between terminal 15 and ground. See Figure . When fuel temperature is below 68°F (20°C), resistance should be above 2100 ohms. When above 68°F (20°C), resistance should be below 2900 ohms.
- If resistance readings are okay, replace ECCS control unit. If not okay, check harness for continuity and repair if necessary. If harness is okay, measure resistance of fuel temperature sensor.SENSOR TEMPERATURE/RESISTANCE RELATIONSHIP
