Air Regulator
- Disconnect 15-pin connector and check voltage between C and ground when ignition is on. See Fig 1 . If battery voltage is present, test is complete. If not, check harness and repair if necessary.
- If okay, check air regulator. Check continuity between regulator connector terminals. Continuity should exist. If not, replace air regulator. Remove air regulator and visually check shutter opening.
- When engine is cold, shutter should be open. After warm-up, shutter should be closed. Pry air regulator shutter open with a screwdriver and check to see if shutter opens and closes smoothly. If no good, replace EFI control unit.
