Transmission Switch (Code 24)

  1. Disconnect 20-pin connector and measure resistance between terminals 14 and 5. See Figure . Resistance should be as listed.
    TRANSMISSION SWITCH RESISTANCES (OHMS)

    Application Ohms
    Top or OD Gear 0
    Except Top or OD Infinity
  2. If resistance readings test out no good, check harness and repair if necessary. If okay, check transmission switch and repair if necessary. If okay, replace control unit.
