Idle-Up Control
The idle speed is compensated by the EFI control unit to prevent rough idle when battery voltage is below 12 volts, when load signal is on and engine RPM is less than 1500 RPM, when engine speed is less than 460 RPM, when atmospheric pressure is less than 26.38 in. Hg, or when air flow meter is malfunctioning. The control unit senses the conditions, and determines an On/Off signal. The signal from the control unit is transmitted to the idle-up solenoid valve to stabilize idle speed.
