Airflow Meter (Code 12)
- Disconnect the 20-pin connector and measure the resistance between terminals No. 6 and 11, 6 and 15, and 6 and 16. See Figure . If no good, go to next step. If okay, check airflow meter flap. If flap is okay, replace control unit. If not okay, replace airflow meter.
- If resistance readings in step 1) were not correct, check airflow meter resistance readings between terminals E and B, E and C, and E and D on airflow meter. Resistance should be as listed in table. If no good, replace the airflow meter.
- If okay, check resistance readings between terminals B, C, D, E and ground. Resistance should be infinity. If okay, check airflow meter flap. If no good, replace airflow meter.
