Power Circuit

  1. Remove driver's side dash cover. Remove time control unit with harness connected. Connect a voltmeter between terminals No. 1 (+) and 2 (-). Voltmeter should show 12 volts with ignition switch in any position.
  2. Connect voltmeter to terminals No. 20 (+) and 2 (-). With ignition switch in "OFF" or "ACC" positions voltmeter should show zero volts. In "ON" position voltmeter should show 12 volts.
  3. Connect voltmeter leads to terminal No. 26 (+) and 2 (-). In "ACC" and "ON" positions voltage should read 12 volts. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 2 and body ground. Ohmmeter should show continuity.
