Operation Test
- Before disconnecting fuel line, relieve fuel system pressure as follows: Remove relay bracket in engine compartment. Start engine. Unplug harness connector from fuel pump relay. After engine stalls, turn ignition off and plug in connector.
- Install Fuel Pressure Gauge (J-25400-34) between fuel filter hose and metal pipe. Start engine and read fuel pressure. Pressure at idle should be as in the ELECTRONIC FUEL PUMP PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS table below. Replace fuel pump if fuel pressure is below specified value.
