Section 10 (System/Component Tests): Relays: Notes

A variety of relays are used on Nissan models. However, all of these relays can be tested using one of 2 different methods. All relays, except safety relays, can be tested using an ohmmeter and remotely delivered power and ground circuits. These include fuel pump relay, main relay, mixture heater relay and neutral/park relay. Safety relays can be tested using an ohmmeter, voltmeter and remotely delivered power and ground circuits.
