Power Brake Unit Output Rod

Apply 20 in. Hg vacuum to power brake unit with hand-held vacuum pump. See Fig 1 . Measure length of output rod extending from power brake unit housing. Adjust output rod if length is not .40-.41" (10.3-10.5 mm). If length cannot be adjusted, replace power brake unit.
