NOTE: Driveability problems that may appear to be transmission related may be caused by a faulty engine component. Engine related fault codes MUST be repaired before diagnosing transmission. See ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. Failure to diagnose and repair engine fault codes prior to transmission diagnosis may result in incorrect diagnosis or component repair.
