Bench Testing: Rotor

Using a DVOM, measure resistance between rotor slip rings. Resistance should be 2-3 ohms. Check for continuity between rotor core and any rotor slip ring. Continuity should not be present. Replace rotor assembly if resistance and continuity checks are not as specified. Ensure minimum slip ring outer diameter is within specification.
