DTC P1447: EVAP Control System Purge Flow Monitoring: Notes

NOTE: If DTC P0510 is also present, perform diagnosis for DTC P0510 first.

NOTE: DO NOT perform these tests unless directed here from SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article. Perform DTC confirmation test first.

NOTE: Manufacturer's Consult II diagnostic tool will display all DTCs and "first trip DTCs". Generic scan tools will display P0xxx DTCs and may display all, some or none of first trip DTCs. If fault verification or repair verification procedure relies on checking for first trip DTC and scan tool does not have this function, run the procedure twice and check for DTCs. DTCs using two-trip fault detection will set a first trip DTC on the first occurrence of the fault. On the second occurrence of the fault, DTC will set and MIL will illuminate.
