Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when:

• DTC P0103
  
  An excessively high voltage from MAF sensor is sent to ECM when engine is not running.
• DTC P0102
  
  An excessively low voltage from MAF sensor is sent to ECM when engine is running.
• DTC P0101
  
  A high voltage from MAF sensor is sent to ECM under light load driving condition.
• DTC P0101
  
  A low voltage from MAF sensor is sent to ECM under heavy load driving condition.

Possible causes are:

• MAF sensor circuit open or shorted.
• Defective MAF sensor.
• Intake air leaks (malfunction "B" and "D" only).
