Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check for Display Control Unit

CHECK FUSE

Make sure the following fuses of the display control unit are not blown.

FUSES REFERENCE CHART

Terminals		Power source	Fuse No.
Connector	Terminal	Power source	Fuse No.
M94	1	Battery power	29
M94	10	ACC power	4

OK or NG

OK: GO TO 2.

NG: If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to "POWER SUPPLY ROUTING CIRCUIT "

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Disconnect display control unit connector M94.
Check voltage between connector terminals and ground as follows.

CONNECTOR TERMINALS CONTINUITY REFERENCE

(+)		(-)	OFF	ACC	ON
Connector	Terminal	(-)	OFF	ACC	ON
M94	1	Ground	Battery voltage	Battery voltage	Battery voltage
M94	10	Ground	0V	Battery voltage	Battery voltage

OK or NG

OK: GO TO 3.

NG: Check harness for open between display control unit and fuse.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between the following display control unit connector terminals and ground.

CONNECTOR TERMINALS CONTINUITY REFERENCE

Terminals			Ignition switch	Continuity
Connector	Terminal	-	Ignition switch	Continuity
M94	3	Ground	OFF	Yes

OK or NG

OK: Inspection End.

NG: Repair or replace harness.
