Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

No Throttle Position (TP) sensor DTCs are present.
Engine speed is steady, changing less than 100 RPM.
Engine speed is between 1000 and 4000 RPM.
Throttle position is steady, throttle angle changes less than one percent.
EGR flow rate is steady, changing less than 4 percent.
No change in brake, A/C clutch, Torque Converter Clutch, or Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch status.
Above conditions are met for one second or more.
Actual MAP value varies 10 kPa or more.
MAP value must vary for a total of 10 seconds over a 20 second period of time that samples were monitored.
Failure must occur over two consecutive trip cycles.
