Operation Procedure

CAUTION: If CONSULT-II is used with no connection of CONSULT-II CONVERTER, malfunctions might be detected in self-diagnosis depending on control unit which carry out CAN communication.

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Connect CONSULT-II and CONSULT-II CONVERTER to data link connector on vehicle.
Turn ignition switch ON.
Touch START on the display.
Touch ALL MODE 4WD on the display.
CAUTION: "ALL MODE 4WD may not be displayed on the system selection screen in the following case: When START was touched just after engine is started or ignition switch is turned to ON. In this case, repeat procedure from step 2.

Touch DATA MONITOR.
Return to monitor item selection screen. Touch any of ECU INPUT SIGNALS, MAIN SIGNALS, CAN DIG SUPPORT MONITOR or SELECTION FROM MENU.

Touch MONITOR START.
Screen of data monitor is displayed.
