Inspection Procedure

  1. Check microphone. 
    1. NG : Replace microphone (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check overhead J/B. (See  INSPECTION  ) 
    1. NG : Replace overhead J/B (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness between overhead J/B and telephone transceiver and speaker relay. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Disconnect the overhead J/B and telephone transceiver and speaker relay connectors.

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of the wire harness between terminals of the overhead J/B and those of the telephone receiver and speaker relay.

    OK: 

    Continuity 

    1. NG : Replace or repair wire harness or connector (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  4. Check wire harness between navigation ECU and telephone transceiver and speaker relay. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Disconnect the navigation ECU and telephone transceiver and speaker relay connectors.

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of the wire harness between terminals of the navigation ECU and those of the telephone receiver and speaker relay.

    OK: 

    Continuity 

    1. NG : Replace or repair wire harness or connector (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. OK : Replace telephone transceiver and speaker relay (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
