Section 962 (LEXUS Park Assist System): Inspection

INSPECT ULTRASONIC SENSOR

CONNECTOR TERMINALS SPECIFIED CONDITION

Tester connection	Condition	Specified condition
1 - 2	Constant	10kΩ +/- 2kΩ

If resistance is not as specified, replace ultrasonic sensor.

INSPECT ULTRASONIC SENSOR SWITCH CONTINUITY

CONNECTOR TERMINALS SPECIFIED CONDITION

Switch position	Condition	Specified condition
ON	3 - 4	No continuity
OFF	3 - 4	Continuity

If resistance is not as specified, replace the switch.

INSPECT ULTRASONIC SENSOR
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, and check that the buzzer sounds.
