Daytime Light Control Does Not Operate Properly

- CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP OPERATION
Activate front fog lamps from front fog lamp switch.
Do the front fog lamps operate normally?
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: Refer to "FRONT FOG LAMP ".
- CHECK INPUT SIGNALS
- Start engine.
- Select "BCM "on CONSULT-III. With "HEAD LAMP "data monitor, make sure that "ENGINE RUN "turns ON-OFF linked with the operation of the engine running or stopped.
Engine running: ENGINE RUN ON
Engine stop: ENGINE RUN OFF
- Select "BCM "on CONSULT-III. With "HEAD LAMP "data monitor, make sure that "PKB SW "turns ON-OFF linked with the operation of the parking brake switch.
Parking brake ON: PKB SW ON
Parking brake OFF: PKB SW OFF
OK or NG
OK: Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF IPDM E/R ".
NG: GO TO 3.
- CHECKING CAN COMMUNICATIONS
Select "BCM "on CONSULT-III and perform self-diagnosis for BCM.
Displayed self-diagnosis results
NO DTC: Replace BCM. Refer to "BCM ".
CAN COMM CIRCUIT: Check BCM CAN communication system.
Refer to "CAN COMMUNICATION INSPECTION USING CONSULT-III (SELF-DIAGNOSIS) ".
