IMMU Initialization

NOTE: Programming of NVIS keys is necessary when ignition key, IMMU or ECM are replaced.

Nissan CONSULT scan tool and Program Card (NATS UEN99A) must be used to register (program) additional keys. See Nissan CONSULT operator's manual for key registration procedure. When any initialization is performed, all IDs previously registered will be erased and all NATS ignition keys must be registered again. If an attempt to start engine is made with an unregistered key, the scan tool screen may display DIFFERENCE OF KEY or LOCK MODE. CHAIN OF ECM-IMMU may be displayed by scan tool during key registration even if system is not malfunctioning.
