Inspection Procedure

- Check navigation ECU.
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the navigation ECU connector.
CHECK:
Check the voltage of terminal +B.
OK:
+B: 10 - 14 V
CHECK:
Check the voltage of terminal ACC when the ignition switch is in ACC or ON position.
OK:
ACC: 10 - 14 V
CHECK:
Check continuity at terminal GND.
OK:
GND: Continuity
- NG : Replace or repair wire harness or connector (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- OK : Go to next step.
- Check wire harness between navigation ECU and multi display.
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the navigation ECU and multi display connectors.
CHECK:
- Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal SYNC of the navigation ECU and terminal SYNC of the multi display.
- Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal VR of the navigation ECU and terminal VR of the multi display.
- Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal VG of the navigation ECU and terminal VG of the multi display.
OK:
Continuity
- NG : Replace or repair wire harness or connector (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- OK : Go to next step.
- Check navigation ECU.
CHECK:
Check the voltage of terminal SYNC, VR and VG.
OK:
SYNC, VR, VG: See "Navigation ECU" of "TERMINAL OF ECU"
- NG : Replace navigation ECU (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- OK : Replace multi display (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
