Possible Cause

Malfunction is detected when:

1. Excessively low voltage from MAF sensor is sent to ECM (P0102).
2. Excessively high voltage from MAF sensor is sent to ECM (P0103).

Possible causes are:

• MAF sensor circuit open or shorted.
• Defective MAF sensor.
• Intake air leaks (P0102 only).
