8. Check PNP Switch Input Signal Circuit For Open And Short-III

- Disconnect ECM harness connector.
- Check harness continuity between ECM terminal 80 and fuse block (J/B) No. 1 terminal 19D.
Refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .
Continuity should exist.
- Also check harness for short to ground and short to power.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 10. CHECK FUSE BLOCK (J/B) NO. 1 .
- NG: GO TO 9.
