Fuel Pump Module: Assembly

Install in the reverse order of removal, paying attention to the following:
- Check for damage at installation position of the fuel filter and fuel pump assembly side fuel level sensor unit.
- Slide fuel level sensor unit until it aligns to installation groove, then insert it until stop. After inserting, apply force in reverse direction (removal direction) to ensure it cannot be pulled out.
- Securely insert harness connector until it stops.
Install in the reverse order of removal, paying attention to the following:
- Check for damage at installation position of the fuel filter and fuel pump assembly side fuel level sensor unit.
- Slide fuel level sensor unit until it aligns to installation groove, then insert it until stop. After inserting, apply force in reverse direction (removal direction) to ensure it cannot be pulled out.
- Securely insert harness connector until it stops.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Install the pressure regulator as follows:
- Install the clip to the groove of the pressure regulator. See Figure.
- Insert the pressure regulator to the pressure regulator housing until hole of clip aligns with protrusion on pressure regulator housing.
- Install the clamps of each hose, avoiding interference with bulges.
- Securely connect the harness connector of the fuel pump.
- Install pump support rubber between fuel pump and fuel level sensor unit without looseness.
